Viva Mexico Ballet was established in 2010 in the Salt Lake Valley, under the direction of Areli Garcia, the current Director and Choreographer of this dance company. It is currently located in South Jordan. This group focuses on the growing generation of children and youth ages 8-18 who want to have a cultural experience and a challenge in their life. Every group has its specific target areas designed to promote growth, coordination, flexibility, gracefulness, confidence, and development in every dancer. Even though the group itself is divided into sub-groups, it is ONE group working together to create amazing performances that bring smiles to those that watch.

Viva Mexico Ballet connects the children to the culture and fosters an atmosphere of unity, connection, and friendship–similar to the cultures it represents. It gives its dancers the opportunity to learn and experience different regions of Mexico, as well as an introduction to some international dances from other countries.

This Ballet Company has continued to grow and polish in professionalism throughout the years as it performs on different types of stages throughout the Valley.
